Crunchyroll is an American online website and International online community focused on streaming Asian Entertainment including anime, manga, drama, music, and auto racing content. Founded in 2006 by a group of University of California, Berkely undergraduate students. Crunchyroll’s distribution channel and partnership program delivers content to over five million online community members worldwide.


Crunchyroll allows users to stream videos in the web site. If registered users, they may upload videos after log in to their accounts. There are many features in crunchyroll, for example, in the web site itself, there is a forum for registered users and non-registered users. The forum is for them to have discussion on the videos uploaded, videos that should be uploaded and topic of the latest videos.



Next, Crunchyroll also provides reviews on the videos uploaded. The summary of the video and also review if the video is worth to watch. Then, registered users may customize the layout of their account by adding avatar to their account. They may also subscribe for the news update of Crunchyroll if there is any related videos uploaded.


Lastly, Crunchyroll is unlike other online media sites. Crunchyroll do not allow users to upload non-copyright videos. Videos that need permission from the original creator cannot be uploaded on Crunchyroll. Therefore, Crunchyroll does not breaks the copyright law like other online media sites.
